Job summary

Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 is hiring a daily Substitute Educational Interpreter for Lancaster County, PA. Responsibilities include interpreting classroom activities and following IEP instructions. Ideal candidates will have at least an Associate degree and experience in interpretation as well as preferred certifications. The position requires competence in English and the ability to transliterate in sign language. Salary is stated at $125 per day with a variable schedule depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required.
• National RID certification preferred; EIPA rating 3.5 or higher.
• Ability to interpret/transliterate in sign language for classroom activities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret or transliterate all classroom activities.
• Follow classroom schedules as needed.
• Interpret for students based on IEPs.
