On Call Custodian# Careers## On Call CustodianApply: Goleta, CA: Full time: Posted Today: JR108771# **Title:**On Call Custodian# **Job Description:****Compensation and Shift:**Compensation: $18.00-$21.00 per hourShift: On-Call - available to work all shifts which may occur or conclude early in the AM or late in the PM. **Job Overview**The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. **Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.* Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures* Stop at risk behavior of others and self* Perform work assignments in a team with other employees* Perform repetitive tasks* Maintain clean work area* Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules* Take direction and respond to supervision* Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner* Fill in during staff shortage* Support shift lead in completing punch-list items* Use proper personal protective equipment* Present a professional appearance and conduct* Understand customer service and satisfaction* Understand reporting systems, and of the environment **Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
