Job summary

The ideal candidate will be ARRT certified or eligible, hold a current BLS certification, and have a preference for at least 1 year of CT experience. Excellent teamwork with radiologists and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible.
• If eligible for ARRT(R), must acquire ARRT(R) within specified guidelines of ARRT. Then, must achieve ARRT(R)(CT) within 18 months of hire.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging by demonstrating anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention as requested by a licensed practitioner.
• Exercise professional judgement in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
• Available for call as requested. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
