Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group in Memphis, TN is seeking a heavy equipment technician focused on cranes to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs at customer sites. This role requires on-call availability, after-hours and weekend service as needed to meet client demands.

You will troubleshoot hoists and cranes, complete OSHA inspections, and coordinate with the Service Manager to schedule daily work. Must lift up to 100 lbs, safety-first mindset, and ability to work on-site and with a team.

Qualifications

• 0 - 2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
• Must always commit to working and driving safely.
• Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generating inspection reports and repair orders.
• Must be on-call and provide after hour services as required.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule and complete daily work.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
