Job summary

The American Cancer Society in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Concierge to be the first point of contact for guests, manage front desk operations, and ensure a welcoming, safe environment. You will assist with check-in/out, respond to inquiries, and coordinate transportation.

Most shifts are evenings and overnights with weekend and holiday coverage; this on-call position requires flexibility and the ability to multitask, communicate clearly, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Additional education or training in hospitality management or customer service is a plus.
• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Customer Service Experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures (30%).
• Provide information about lodge amenities and community resources (20%).
• Coordinate transportation and EMPOWER Program services and schedules (15%).
• Respond to guest requests, concerns, and emergencies (15%).
• Maintain organized front desk area and accurate guest records (10%).
• Monitor lobby security and implement safety protocols (10%).
