Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic staff to fill the role of Concessions Worker at Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, OH. The position offers flexible, on-call hours including evenings and weekends, providing a great way to earn extra money while gaining food service experience.

The role focuses on guest service, food prep, and teamwork, with on-site duties and compliance with safety regulations. Pre-employment drug testing is conducted; EOE.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate professionally with team and other departments.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, vendors, supervisors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas
• Follow proper guest service procedures by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures
• Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties
