Job summary

Wilks Truck Center in Dothan, AL is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to service commercial tires for on-site and roadside calls, while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 1 year of automotive repair experience, and the ability to lift and operate in demanding conditions. Training will cover mounting, tire inspection, and equipment maintenance. Full-time, in-person position with benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Service Commercial Tires including mounting/dismounting.
• Train to perform match mounting and dual assemblies.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Perform on-site repairs and/or replacements.
• Maintain PPE and safety policies.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle and equipment.
• Support on-call roadside service on a rotating basis.
• Keep shop clean and organized.
• Report safety issues to management.
