Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living Avondale is seeking a Certified Caregiver & Med Tech to join our PRN team in Avondale, AZ. A valid AZ caregiver certification is required.

The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and providing compassionate care in a family-like environment. We offer a supportive culture with opportunities for growth and a competitive pay rate of $20.00+ per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Previous health-care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of state approved medication administration training, first aid certification and other state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with established methods and standards.
• Ensure residents privacy, respect and dignity.
• Detect, correct, and report unsafe conditions impacting residents.
• Assure physical comfort, safety, and mental well-being of residents.
• Assist in daily care tasks: toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing, mobility.
• Attend monthly in-service meetings and training.
