Job summary

DHL Express is hiring an on-call Courier to pick up and deliver time-sensitive documents and packages in accordance with company procedures.

Role requires a Valid Driver’s License, CDL, 21+ years old, excellent customer service, and map-reading skills; prior driving experience is preferred. A pre-employment background, drug and medical screening are required.

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• Valid Driver’s License and motor vehicle record meeting driving privileges standards.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Map reading skills and knowledge of delivery area preferred.
• Previous professional driving experience, preferably in a delivery role.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicle to customer sites under tight deadlines and delivers documents and packages.
• Picks up and delivers time-sensitive materials safely and punctually.
• Ensures delivery material is delivered to the correct consignee.
• Operates a scanner to record shipping and package information.
• Maintains punctuality and adheres to safety procedures.
• Reports any security issues to supervisor.
