Job summary

JX Enterprises invites you to join our team as a Transfer Driver (On Call). This role supports our mission by transporting trucks between branches or to customers, adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols.

The position is on-call, part-time, with hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will perform pre-trip inspections, stay current on safety training, and collaborate with teammates to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and at least a 5 year driving history.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Ability to adhere to established safe driving guidelines.
• Ability to work safely and well with others; dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle trucks from Branch to Branch or Branch to customer; ensure timely delivery.
• Follow all DOT regulations to maintain safety and compliance.
• Perform pre-trip truck inspections and report any concerns.
• Engage in all assigned learning modules and safety training.
• Troubleshoot traffic flow and road conditions to meet schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
