Job summary

ComForcare is seeking a Terrific Caregiver to care for clients in a professional and compassionate manner. The on-call position emphasizes last-minute requests, weekend availability, and flexible shifts across homes within 50 miles.

The ideal candidate is a patient, friendly Nurse's Aide who can follow instructions, adapt quickly, and work well with diverse clients, including those with dementia. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• COVID vaccination is required.
• Willing to work in homes with pets.
• Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia, gait belts, and Hoyer lifts.
• Willing to drive up to 50 miles to client homes.
• Geographically flexible for 4–12 hour shifts.
• Available for 8am–9pm day shifts.
• Ability to leave within 60 minutes of being called.
• Reliable transportation and willing to drive clients.
• Excellent team player with ability to handle fast-paced scheduling.
• Comply with Ohio Department of Aging Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities

• Fill last minute requests from clients and back-fill call offs.
• Provide professional and compassionate care to clients.
• Follow instructions and perform tasks to help clients.
• Maintain safety and adhere to company policies.
