Job summary

The Salvation Army's Long Point Camp in New York State is seeking On-Call Camp Assistants to support daily camp operations and rental groups. You will work with the Camp Administrator to prepare facilities, assist with food service, housekeeping, and event setup, ensuring guests have a safe, comfortable experience.

Responsibilities include light maintenance tasks, inventory control, assisting with meals, and serving as a point of contact for rental groups during events.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Responding to Emergencies-First Aid training preferred.
• CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Camp Administrator in daily tasks as needed.
• Clean lakeside apartments, lodge and other areas as scheduled.
• Conduct seasonal cleanings and maintain daily cleaning checklists.
• Maintain inventory and report missing items for ordering/billing.
