Job summary

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is seeking a compassionate team member to assist clients and staff with daily treatment operations across our facility. You will support the treatment team, handle scheduling, and help manage unit office tasks while aligning with organizational policies.

Responsibilities include reviewing patient activities, ensuring safety and fire code compliance, monitoring medications, and facilitating transport to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 21+ years of age.
• Pass a state/license background check.
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days.
• Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in addiction treatment industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• 2+ years' experience with Twelve Step Process/Program.
• No major motor vehicle violations within past 3 years.
• No capital violations within last 5 years.
• 2 years free from chemical use.

Responsibilities

Review patient/client activities and relate observations to staff. Ensure building is in compliance with fire and safety regulations. Provide clerical support to the treatment team, medication services, patient scheduling and management of unit office/tech station.

• Review and support the recovery activities of patients/clients and relate observations to appropriate staff.
• As a member of the treatment team, assist patients/clients from admission through discharge.
• As required by site, monitor and maintain patient/client's medications.
• Ensure site/building is in compliance with safety regulations including fire and guest/visitor expectations (site-specific).
• Driving responsibilities as needed
• As required by site:
• Accompany residents/patients/clients to scheduled appointments, meetings, grocery store, etc.
• Manage money restricting program within organization guidelines.
• Assist in performing toxicology screenings

• Previous experience working in the addiction treatment industry
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• 2 or more years' experience in understanding of the Twelve Step Process/Program
• Insurance requires that individuals in this role have no major motor vehicle violations within the past 3 years
• Insurance requires that individuals in this role have no capital violations within the last 5 years
• 2 years free from chemical use
