The Mills House, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking a Barista to craft high-quality coffee beverages and deliver excellent guest service in our Charleston café. You will engage customers, take orders, and keep equipment and the station pristine.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to keep a clean work area.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Prior cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos.
• Engage with customers, take orders and provide recommendations.
• Create latte art and ensure drinks are well-presented.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure quality and freshness.
• Upsell pastries and merchandise and handle cash transactions.
