Sonesta International Hotels Corporation in Irvine is seeking a dynamic Banquet Server to deliver high-level food and beverage service at weddings, meetings, and conferences. You will play a key role in creating seamless, elevated, and memorable events for our guests.
You will set up event spaces, coordinate with culinary and bar teams, and ensure guest experiences meet Sonesta's People People culture throughout fast-paced events and functions.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and loves delivering exceptional guest experiences during special events and banquet functions. Previous banquet, restaurant, hotel, catering, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and guest service skills with a friendly and professional attitude. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality and event environment. Strong attention to detail, presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards. Ability to work flexible schedules based on event timing including evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night functions. Knowledge of banquet service standards, food safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices preferred. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to support the team wherever needed. A passion for hospitality, teamwork, guest engagement, and creating memorable event experiences.
Pay range $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. The base pay offered may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and specific/overall experience.
