Job summary

Silver Shield seeks dedicated On-Call Armed Security Officers to protect clients, employees, and visitors. You will patrol, respond to alarms, and enforce policies in the Rio Grande Valley and El Paso regions, with on-call shifts Monday–Friday. Must have clean background, Level III guard card, and CPR/First Aid; driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of armed officer experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle to post in.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Active Level III guard card.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed.
• Enforce company policies to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
