Job summary

Redwood Living, Inc. is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician I in Canton, OH to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and groundwork on site.

You will handle work orders, assist with unit turns, and communicate with residents to ensure a positive living experience. The role requires at least 1 year of general maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license, with HVAC certification and prior apartment maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC Certification (preferred).
• Apartment maintenance experience (preferred).
• Ability to operate smartphone, tablet, and computers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair facilities, buildings, and grounds as assigned through work orders.
• Prepare vacated apartment homes for release quickly and professionally.
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall tasks.
• Service kitchen appliances, washers, dryers, and garage issues when necessary.
• Emergency maintenance as part of an on-call emergency schedule.
• Follow safety standards at all times.
• Snow removal.
• All other related duties as assigned.
