Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a casual Security Officer – Response in Wilmington, NC. The role varies from customer service to patrols and surveillance, requiring agility and precision.

You must be on call 24/7 and able to cover all shifts, with a competitive hourly wage and full benefits. The ideal candidate will have an active PPSB license (or complete the 16 Unarmed Security Training), a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years old.

Qualifications

• Must have an active PPSB license or be able to take the 16 Unarmed Security Training Course to obtain your license.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Must be over 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass extensive screening and drug screen.
• Must have open availability for all shifts.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security.
• Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
• Control access points and verify identities.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
• Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
