ALUTIIQ LOGISTICS & MAINTENANCE SVS LLC is seeking a Plumber in Albuquerque, NM at Kirtland AFB to install, maintain, and repair heating, water, and drainage systems. The role involves reading plans, testing systems, and coordinating with site personnel to ensure code compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, journeyman license, and ability to obtain a backflow tester certification. Prior military installation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Professional or Trade Certification preferred for plumbing work.
• Valid Journeyman plumber license required.
• Backflow tester certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects structure to avoid obstructions and marks pipe positions.
• Cuts openings in walls/floors and threads pipes as needed.
• Assembles and installs valves, fittings, and metal/nonmetal pipes.
• Joins pipes using varied methods and tests for leaks.
• Repairs plumbing and maintains fixtures and systems.
• Reads blueprints and technical manuals for installation guidance.
