Job summary

A leading construction firm in Jacksonville, Florida, seeks experienced Pipefitters to join its team for ongoing projects at the Mayport military base. This role involves the assembly and installation of piping systems while ensuring safety and compliance with relevant codes. Candidates with at least 4 years of experience and preferred certifications will be favored. Compensation includes a wage of $49.09 per hour and benefits such as medical, dental, and 401k match.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a journeyman-level pipefitter required.
• Experience preferred in government and commercial construction.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and plan all piping systems on site.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety practices.
• Support RQC's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Skills

Mechanical Pipe Installation

Deep underground experience

Start-up and Energizing Experience

Current Welding certificate

CPR and First Aid certifications

OSHA-10 hour certifications

Education

High school diploma or G.E.D.

Valid Pipefitter license or journeyman card
