Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to deliver comprehensive financial counseling to service members and their families on military installations, including budgeting, education, and referrals to resources as needed.

You will work with installation points of contact to ensure DoD-aligned services, offer classes across the military lifecycle, and utilize virtual channels when required for outreach and support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• May consider associate degree with 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's.
• May consider high school diploma with 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
• Develop and present informational financial materials and resources.
• Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Conduct briefings and consultations with commanders or staff as needed.
• Utilize virtual counseling or electronic modes of communication for PFM services.
