Job summary

FactSet is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and develop financial trading applications, focusing on an OMS built in Java. You will lead a small, collaborative team and mentor engineers while delivering high-performance, low-latency solutions for buy-side and sell-side clients.

You will partner with product managers and other teams to translate requirements into scalable architectures, review code, and drive best practices in testing and performance in a fast-paced financial environment.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will help design and develop financial trading applications. You will be part of a passionate team working on mission-critical systems, leveraging object-oriented programming, primarily in Java, to build scalable, robust trading applications.

The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Connecticut and New Yorkis $130,000.00 - $165,000.00
