DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Client is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team of qualified,diverse individuals. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD. ThisNetwork Engineer Level II will be working on innovative network design andoperations. This position will support various customers within HealthSolutions. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and be a part of afirst-class organization working on complex, leading edge network technology.Position is responsible for providing engineering expertise for complexmulti-service networking. The network engineer is responsible for engineering,and supporting of the network design, deployment and operations for a largegovernment customer located in Baltimore, Maryland. This position may requirefrom 25% to 50% travel to various domestic customer locations. Positionrequires regular on-site work at the customer location and warehouse.

DESCRIPTION:

• Deploy and maintain enterprise wireless LAN network infrastructure
• Analyze current wireless LAN networkconfigurations and determine implementation requirements
• Configure routing protocols, complexswitch networks, and routing configurations
• Prepare network equipment for deploymentby loading appropriate software and configuration setting according to pre-engineereddesign templates
• Assemble required equipment, cables,adapters, etc. and arrange delivery to site for installation
• Upgrade configuration of existingnetwork equipment to support new features and functions
• Work with field installation contractorswhile they are on-site and provide all technical details to complete wirelessLAN site survey and AP or Controller installations
