Job summary

Sanford Health is offering a 1-year fellowship for an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Fargo, North Dakota. The fellow will work with one board-certified OMFS and an APP in a level one trauma center setting, performing dentoalveolar surgery and OMFS-related on-call duties.

The program includes didactic conferences, educational and research opportunities, and core privileges to manage comprehensive OMFS care across ages, including trauma and reconstructive cases.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required.
• Hospital affiliated OMFS residency/CODA accreditation preferred.
• Board certification in OMFS or active pursuit within 5 years of training.

Responsibilities

• Fellow would function at attending level for dentoalveolar surgery and OMFS-related call (7 days per month).
• Didactic component with monthly conferences; educational and research opportunities.
• Core Privileges include history, examination, admission, diagnosis, and non-surgical/surgical care for oral & maxillofacial patients.
• Participation in trauma, pathology, reconstruction, orthognathic, TMJ, and craniofacial procedures.
