G&W Electric is seeking a Project Manager I Order Management to drive end-to-end project initiatives, coordinating with Inside Sales Support Reps to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables across the order lifecycle. You will develop project plans, monitor milestones, and maintain clear documentation for customers and internal teams.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or Business, 1–2 years of Project Management and customer service experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in an Engineering or Business discipline or related field.
• 1–2 years of Project Management and customer service experience.
• Ability to resolve issues independently and manage multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards software.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project initiatives to completion with timely delivery and quality results.
• Develop project plans with timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.

Project Manager I Order Management

The Project Manager I plays a pivotal role at G&W Electric focusing on customer needs by communicating proactively and effectively with internal and external customers The Project Manager I will be responsible for managing orders assigned to them up to and including escalations from G&W Electric Inside Sales Support Reps As a OM Project Manager I you will Lead end to end project initiatives to completion ensuring timely delivery and high quality project deliverables hitting milestones clear documentation and proactive communicationDevelops project plans including timelines tasks milestones and contingency plans up to and including risk mitigation on agreed upon contractsDevelop and adhere to a project schedule while tracking progress monitoring task completion of other teams and identify at risk responsibilitiesConsult with various departments within G&W Electric as appropriate to resolve technical and scheduling issues that arise during order life cycle of the orderWork closely with Sales team to support customer order activityProvide timely and effective communication to internal and external customersSupport continuous improvement initiatives to refine teams processes tools and overall customer experienceAssist management with global manufacturing efforts by leading and executing a plan provided by themMaintain customer files including customers specific requirements as defined within the teams protocol including but not limited to ISO or G&W Work Instruction or procedureCheck approval drawings for accuracy before they are transmitted to the customerLiaise with Finance Department to ensure timely invoicing and payment where applicable Request performance bonds through financeEnsure all submittal documentation is developed and sent to the end user or sales representative in the agreed upon timeOrder validation and effectively manage design changes after the purchase order is receivedPlans and organizes the resources necessary to complete a project utilizing the necessary principles techniques and tools used in planning control monitoring and review of projects

We are looking for someone who Holds a BS Degree within an Engineering Business discipline or related field Technical aptitude required 1 2 Years of Project Management Customer service Experience Documented ability to resolve issues independently Documented ability to manage multiple projects at once Expert knowledge in the use of Microsoft suite Word Excel etc Strong written and verbal communication skills a must Ideally you will also have Working knowledge of JD Edwards software 1 2 years of experience working in an operational role within a manufacturing environment Previous experience within the power industry
