Job summary

Old Tucson Entertainment LLC in Tucson, AZ seeks an observant, efficient barback to support a fast-paced bartending team. You will help stock the bar, prepare garnishes, and keep the area clean to ensure prompt service for guests.

The ideal candidate is reliable, knowledgeable about our menu, and comfortable with late shifts and weekends. This seasonal, non-exempt role requires a high school diploma and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with opening and closing duties, restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean towels, plasticware, etc.
• Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly.
• Restocking and changing out kegs if needed.
• Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled utensils, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Learning about menu items and memorizing recipes.
• Ensure that delivered items are stored properly.

The barback will assist in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is well stocked with napkins, straws, drinkware, garnishes, and all other necessities, and taking on other duties to support the bartender and ensure that the bar operates smoothly.
