Job summary

KeyData Cyber is a leading IAM professional services firm focused on end-to-end identity programs in North America. We are seeking an accomplished architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise IAM solutions using Okta, with a track record of working with large clients and senior stakeholders.

The role demands deep IAM knowledge, strong communication, and extensive consulting experience, including pre-sales involvement and solution design across SSO, MFA, RBAC, and directory services.

Qualifications

  • Okta Certified Architect or Consultant certification is required.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, solution architecture, or software development.
  • 4+ years of experience in IAM architecture and design.
  • 5+ years of consulting experience with enterprise customers.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing Okta-based solutions.
  • Deep understanding of IAM concepts including SSO, MFA, RBAC, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise integrations.
  • Proven ability to lead discovery workshops and define technical solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, including engagement with senior executives.
  • Excellent communication skills translating technical concepts to business audiences.

  • Lead discovery sessions to gather business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Design and architect enterprise IAM solutions using Okta.
  • Translate customer requirements into scalable and secure identity architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership in defining Statements of Work (SOW), solution scope, and delivery approach.
  • Develop IAM strategies, standards, and governance frameworks across organizations.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Professional Services teams to support solutioning and pre‑sales activities.
  • Guide delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and alignment with architecture.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, customer health checks, and ongoing optimizations.
  • Define best practices for interoperability across multiple IAM and enterprise systems.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership and business teams.

What You’ll Do

Who We’re Looking For
  • Mandatory Requirement: Okta Certified Architect / Okta Consultant Certification
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, solution architecture, or software development
  • 4+ years of experience in IAM architecture and design
  • 5+ years of consulting experience working with enterprise customers
  • Strong experience designing and implementing Okta-based solutions
  • Deep understanding of IAM concepts including SSO, MFA, RBAC, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Active Directory
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise integrations
  • Proven ability to lead discovery workshops and define technical solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with IAM tools such as Ping, SailPoint, Saviynt, or Microsoft Identity
  • Knowledge of security architecture, cryptography, and Zero Trust principles
  • Experience with distributed systems and application architecture design
  • Programming experience (Java, Python, .NET, Ruby, or similar)
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and version control systems (Git, SVN)
  • TOGAF, CISSP, or similar certifications
