Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a neurology physician for a 7-day block inpatient coverage in Oklahoma. Expect day and night call, rounding on the neuro floor, and approximately 10 patients per day with endotracheal intubations and lumbar punctures as required.

This assignment includes paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, 24-hour consultant access, and the backing of a Charter member of NALTO. Rounds and procedures are performed as needed with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 7-day block coverage – Mon 7 am to Mon 7 am, day and night call.
• Approximately 10 patients per day.
• General neurology inpatient coverage and call.
• Does not admit -- rounds on the neuro floor as needed.
• Endotracheal intubations required.
• Lumbar punctures required.
• Arterial and central lines required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient neurology coverage and daytime/nighttime call.
• Round on the neuro floor as needed and coordinate care.
• Perform endotracheal intubations, lumbar punctures, and arterial/central line management.
