Job summary

Flying A Pumping Services, LLC in Cisco, Texas, seeks a Yard Hand / Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day operations of an oilfield pipe yard and perform maintenance on inspection and certification equipment. This role requires dependable, safety-minded individuals who are mechanically inclined and willing to handle hands-on tasks.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading pipe, operating yard equipment, assisting with inspections, and performing preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in an oilfield pipe yard or industrial yard preferred.
• Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Experience with pipe inspection or certification equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely operate yard equipment, or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read manuals and follow safety procedures.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions; lift and move materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, organizing, and storing pipe and related materials.
• Operate forklifts, loaders, cranes or other yard equipment as trained.
• Maintain an organized and safe pipe yard.
• Assist with pipe inspection, testing, and certification activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Maintain and repair general yard equipment, tools, and facilities.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE.
• Assist with welding, fabrication, or other repair work as needed.
• Keep work areas and tools clean and organized.
