Job summary

MS Directional is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to manage daily warehouse tasks including receiving, storing, and shipping materials for an oilfield remanufacture facility. The role reports to the Inventory Manager and emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

You will handle cycle counts, audits, and Oracle transactions, while operating forklifts and keeping the work area organized and compliant with OSHA/PPE standards. Weekend/on-call flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Must live within 1 hour driving distance to the yard.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 50 pounds independently.
• Ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Able to work weekends and be on call after hours.
• Team-based work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts; print reports.
• Assist with Physical Inventory Counting and audits (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual).
• Verify shipment contents against manifests, invoices, and orders.
• Record shipment data (weight, charges, space, damages) for reporting.
• Package and prepare materials for shipments; label and tag properly.
• Deliver or route materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or sorting bins.
• Use Oracle to initiate/complete inbound/outbound warehouse transactions.
• Complete forklift inspection; maintain warehouse equipment.
