Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. is seeking a mechanical technician to support prep, assembly, and repair of oilfield equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, teardown and reassembly with hand and air tools, and travel to remote sites as needed.

You will operate in a fast-paced shop environment, participate in the HSE program, and contribute to maintaining safety and quality standards across projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a mechanical-based role.
• Experience with hydraulics preferred.
• Prior drilling rigs experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performs independent, routine, or repetitive assignments using standard work procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment to identify and diagnose problems.
• Tears down, repairs, and reassembles equipment using hand and air tools.
• Able to travel to remote job site locations as needed.
• Occasional international travel as needed.
• Participates in rotational on-call schedule.
• Active participation in the HSE program.
