Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to provide field support and analytics to Account Managers and customers. You will collect oil samples at well-sites, ship them to Jacam's laboratory for analysis, and help maintain all equipment and wellheads to ensure peak performance.

This role involves indoors and outdoors work, frequent driving, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will perform fluid management calculations, read and analyze data for customers, manage materials inventory, and

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Minimum oilfield experience of 2 years.
• Valid Class C driver's license; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect critical customer information to improve relationships.
• Perform fluid management calculations at the wellsite.
• Conduct pressure pumping operations safely and efficiently.
• Properly collect and distribute field samples.
• Routinely collect oilfield samples and analyze data for customers.
• Read and analyze data for Account Managers.
• Manage materials inventory.
• Maintain, operate and repair all equipment required for duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and field staff.
• Maintain high safety standards at all times.
