Job summary

iWorkforce Solutions is hiring Entry-Level / Trainee Field Service Technicians in Midland, TX. You will train alongside senior technicians to learn mobilization, installation, and maintenance of surface rental equipment on active drilling sites.

We provide hands-on training from day one, with a clear path to Level I/II Technician as you prove your skills, potentially earning $23.00–$25.00/hour on progression and enjoying a company truck, per diem, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• No prior oilfield experience required; mechanical trades or military background valued.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors.
• Willingness to work days/nights with overtime.
• Strong problem-solving, punctuality, hard-working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Rig-Up Assistance: Learn to assemble, rig up, and rig down specialized rental tools and surface equipment.
• Pressure Testing Support: Help seniors in setting up hydrostatic pressure tests.
• Tool Handling & Maintenance: Use hand and power tools to clean and prep equipment.
• Safety Observation & Compliance: Follow site safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Field Adaptability: 12-hour field rotations, days/nights, weekends, holidays in West Texas.
