Marine Spill Response Corporation (MSRC) is seeking a highly motivated Oil Spill Responder in Concord, CA for a full-time, on-site role reporting to the Site Supervisor.

The position supports our mission to mitigate oil spills and keep coastal waters clean. Responsibilities include deployment of equipment, maintenance of response gear, and teamwork in emergency scenarios. Requires a valid driver’s license, safety compliance, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn safe practices and operations.

Responsabilités

• Participate in deployment, retrieval, cleaning, and storage of oil boom and sorbent materials, and assist in oil spill clean-up activities.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and inspections on response equipment, including maintenance and safety reports.
• Learn and operate small boats including navigation and radar equipment.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Complete required administrative responsibilities properly and timely.
• Work effectively as part of a team, providing support and assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
