Job summary

Haffner's, a regional leader in fuel distribution and HVAC services in New England, seeks an Oil Service Technician to service residential and commercial heating and cooling systems. The role includes installation, maintenance, and repair of systems, along with documentation, testing, and clear communication of issues and solutions to customers.

Eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, with hourly pay between $28.00 and $40.00 based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in oil service or equipment sales preferred.
• NH oil burner service license.
• EPA 608 certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, and cooling equipment at commercial and residential sites.
• Communicates schedule and delays to customer and office staff.
• Documents equipment upon arrival (make, model, serial, fuel type, test data, photos).
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical issues and conveys findings and solutions to customers.
• Repairs by obtaining parts, calibrating to manufacturer specs, and testing components.
