Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an enthusiastic Oil Recycling Operator to join our Rollinsford, NH team. This labor-intensive role involves loading/offloading tankers, sampling, and changing out pump strainers and inline filters.

You’ll gauge tanks hourly, help with tank transfers, and support other operators in a collaborative refinery environment. We offer health/dental/life insurance after 30 days, company-paid certifications and training, and competitive hourly wages with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 Manufacturing or Plant experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting experience a plus.
• Previous refinery operations experience is an asset.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Samples process streams and assists with tank farm operations
• Gauges all process tanks every hour
• Completes tank transfers to control inventory
• Obtains routine process samples to verify product quality
• Switches and changes process filters
• Assists other operators
• Completes housekeeping tasks within the refinery
• Loads and unloads tanks
