Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a tire technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for a range of vehicles. You will handle loading/unloading stock, assist with inventory, and work with TPMS while following safety procedures. The role may include various duties as assigned.

Applicants should be at least 18, with the ability to lift 30–250 lbs and a valid driver’s license. Experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with tire mounting and balancing preferred, but not required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on various vehicles.
• Load and unload stock and assist with inventory.
• Work with Tire Pressure Management System (TPMS).
• Participate in training and follow safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires on various vehicles from passenger cars, light trucks, large trucks to industrial.

Load and unload stock and assist with physical inventory.

Work with tire TPMS (Tire Pressure Management System).

Participates in training, follows safety procedures, accomplishes job duties, and adheres to company policies.

Any other duties as assigned.

Skills / Education / Requirements:
