Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs a combination of shipping and receiving duties; loads and unloads trucks; uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting; follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements; receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
• Unpacks or unwraps items; inspects incoming material to verify PO compliance and quality; logs receipt of items, processes freight bills, and routes shipments; reports materials shipped and bills of lading.
• Expedites, routes, and dispatches material in accordance with production schedules; reviews schedule and reports progress/status; escalates shortages.
• Inspects, rebuilds, operates, tests, and troubleshoots equipment; paints equipment; follows OEM guidelines and SOPs; completes records and documentation.
• May operate heavy machinery if certified.
• General housekeeping and ground maintenance in shop and with company vehicles.
