Job summary

Talos Energy is seeking a Landman to oversee all onshore and offshore land and commercial activities in alignment with company policies and applicable regulations. The role requires administering leases, conducting detailed research, and collaborating with multiple internal teams to optimize development and asset retirement obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Commerce, or a closely related field is required.
• 1-3 years of oil and gas land and commercial experience (internships included). Offshore experience is a plus.
• Experience administering oil and gas leases, including lessor royalties and rentals, AFEs, surface use agreements, and other contracts.

Responsibilities

• Administer contracts and leases to ensure timely compliance with rights and obligations.
• Conduct fast and accurate research on oil and gas agreements including leases and related documents.
• Collaborate with Exploration, Development, and Operations stakeholders to optimize development and asset retirement obligations.
