Job summary

General Utilities, Inc. in Plainview, NY is seeking an Oil Delivery Driver to join our home services team.

You will deliver heating oil to residential customers using tank trucks, following routes and safety procedures to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and high customer satisfaction. Requirements include a valid CDL Class A or B with Tank & HazMat endorsements, High School Diploma or equivalent, ability to meet DOT rules, and a reliable, detail-oriented work ethic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid CDL Class A or B license with Tank & HazMat endorsements.
• Able to meet the company's motor vehicle policy.
• TWIC card a plus.
• Able to meet all DOT requirements including road test and drug screen.
• Must be reliable, diligent, dependable.
• Ability to effectively utilize maps, locate addresses.

Responsibilities

• Follow route and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
