Job summary

Tiger Fuel Company in Orange is seeking an Oil Delivery Driver to load and drive a fuel delivery vehicle to residential and commercial locations from the Orange Plant, with a focus on safety and customer service. The role also serves as a back-up Propene Delivery Driver in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CDL B license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Experience driving in snow, ice and other weather conditions.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and handling hoses/nozzles.

Responsibilities

• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads oil and propane to and from destinations.
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment or maintenance.
• Prepares and maintains records per regulations and procedures.
• Operates delivery truck following safety procedures.
• Collaborates with Dispatcher to plan routes and meet schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions.

Requirements

• Loads, secures, transports, delivers, and unloads oil and propane to and from specified destinations.
• Inspects vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance.
• Prepares and maintains records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Operates delivery truck in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Dispatcher to plan and follow routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering questions.
• Completes required on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency deliveries and responses.
• Ensures truck and associated equipment are clean and in good working order.

Qualifications And Experience

• Possess a CDL B License with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
• Experience maneuvering in tight quarters and driving in snow, ice and other weather conditions
• Physically capable of heavy lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, carrying hoses/nozzles weighing up to 50 lbs
• Good driving record with no major convictions
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in written correspondence with Dispatcher and customers
• Able to read and understand road signs, instructions, routes and other paperwork
• Displays a positive, "can-do" attitude and interacts well with others on a team
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen test
