Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Oil Burner Technician License required.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience servicing oil heating systems.
• Strong knowledge of oil burners, boilers, furnaces, and heating components.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls.
• Safety-conscious and able to handle physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on residential oil heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair oil burners, boilers, furnaces, and related heating equipment.
• Install and replace oil burners, oil tanks, and associated components.
• Conduct system diagnostics, combustion testing, and efficiency evaluations.
• Identify and resolve heating system issues to ensure safe operation.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
• Ensure all work complies with Massachusetts regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
