Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Jackson, TN is seeking a Lube Technician to join a customer-focused team. You will learn to perform oil changes, replace wiper blades, air filters, and other light maintenance in a stay-in-your-car, hassle-free service environment.

We train you and welcome all backgrounds. You’ll be expected to handle physical tasks, work in varying weather, and help customers choose services while maintaining a clean, efficient shop.

Qualifications

• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Need to have reliable transportation.
• You may need to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
• Standing, bending and other physical activity for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter, grease chassis fittings.
• Wash the windshield and adjust the tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Assist the customer in selecting the oil type and other services.
• Process payment for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill services.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
