Job summary

Cisco is seeking an OIC engineer in Durham, NC to design, implement, and support integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and internal/external systems. You will work with a team of engineers and business partners to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

The role covers development, testing, deployment, and ongoing diagnostics, with strong emphasis on documentation, security, and change-management best practices. A CS/IT degree and 5–7 years Oracle experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field.
• 5–7 years of Oracle technology experience.
• Proficient in REST, SOAP web services, XML, JSON, XSLT and integrating with external systems, databases, and SFTP/FTP.
• Skilled in error handling, exception management, logging, security features.
• Experience applying AI to technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and internal/external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Monitor and debug integrations, resolve performance issues, and provide technical guidance.
• Gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide ongoing technical support including troubleshooting production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing resolutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and document solutions.
• Manage code reviews and deployments across environments using change management best practices.
