Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Architect to design and support enterprise integration across Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Financials, and related SaaS applications. This is a 12-month remote contract opportunity based in New York, NY.

You will design, build, and support integrations, develop orchestrations, REST and SOAP services, and orchestrate end-to-end solutions using OCI services.

• Strong knowledge of OCI services and secure authentication methods.
• Proficient SQL/PL/SQL and data transformation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support OIC integrations across ERP and SaaS environments.

• Architect end-to-end solutions using OCI services (Object Storage, Queue, Streaming, Vault, API Gateway, Functions, Event Service Rules).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations with OCI logging.

We’re seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Architect to help design and support enterprise integration solutions across Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Financials, and related SaaS applications. This is a 12-month contract opportunity in a remote New York, NY setting, offering the chance to work on modern finance technology initiatives that combine cloud integration, database development, and user experience enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud across ERP and SaaS environments.
• Develop orchestrations, REST and SOAP services, file-based integrations, and process automations to streamline business workflows.
• Architect end-to-end solutions using OCI services such as Object Storage, Queue, Streaming, Vault, API Gateway, Functions, and Event Service Rules.
• Implement secure access patterns, including OAuth, API policies, and secret management best practices.
• Build event-driven and asynchronous integrations to support scalable enterprise workflows.
• Create and maintain VBCS applications and modern user interfaces using JavaScript and Oracle Redwood framework.
• Develop SQL and PL/SQL logic to support data transformation, persistence, and transactional processes.
• Work with Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) for integration data handling and workflow support.
• Support file ingestion, archival, and integration triggers using Object Storage and related cloud services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve integrations using OIC tools and OCI logging and event capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and solution architects to deliver reliable, reusable, and well-documented solutions.
• Support testing, issue resolution, and production troubleshooting throughout implementation and ongoing operations.
• Help manage provisioning and access workflows, including Okta group assignments and role mapping for integration components.
• Apply secure file transmission and encryption practices, including PGP and SSH, and support proactive key management processes.

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Experience integrating Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Financials, and SaaS applications.
• Working knowledge of OCI services, including Object Storage, Queue, Streaming, Vault, API Gateway, Functions, and Event Rules.
• Proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience building user interfaces with JavaScript and Oracle Redwood framework.
• Understanding of ATP databases and cloud-based integration patterns.
• Knowledge of secure authentication, authorization, and API protection methods.
• Ability to troubleshoot integrations and support production environments.
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work across technical and functional teams to deliver solutions aligned to business needs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VBCS application development.
• Familiarity with Okta administration and access governance workflows.
• Experience with event-driven integration patterns and asynchronous processing.
• Knowledge of PGP and SSH file encryption and secure transfer methods.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools in OCI and OIC.
• Background supporting finance application platforms or enterprise ERP integrations.
• Ability to contribute to process improvement and scalable architecture design.
