Job summary

Walsh Group seeks a Project Engineer for the Ohio Region in Columbus. You will support project coordination, document control, procurement, quality checks, and safety management while helping the team plan and execute work.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred and 1+ years of experience or internship experience is a plus; relocation may be required for some roles. You’ll work with subcontractors, survey and layout, and contribute to weekly progress reports as part of Walsh’s growing, family-owned

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction or project coordination.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or prior employment is a plus.
• Some roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
• Procurement of construction materials
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Survey and project layout
• Weekly pictures for progress reports
• Manage construction equipment
• Safety management
• Project estimating
