Overview

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Ohio Construction Inspection Lead to join our Infrastructure – Construction Inspection Team at our Columbus, OH office.

The Ohio Construction Inspection Lead is a senior level position responsible for overseeing construction inspection activities. They coordinate large construction projects, maintain project documentation and records, and oversee construction inspection field staff. The professional in this role will work with the project designer as necessary, chair all project related meetings, and review contractor pay quantities for accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee construction inspection activities on large projects
  • Coordinate field staff and maintain project documentation and records
  • Work with the project designer as necessary
  • Chair all project-related meetings
  • Review contractor pay quantities for accuracy
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred
  • NICET Level IV certification or PE preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Minimum of 15 years of construction inspection experience is required; experience with Ohio DOT required
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel is preferred
  • Able to work independently
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret client’s contracts
  • Excellent knowledge of and reinforces the company’s and client’s standards
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge about the construction industry
  • Must be able to navigate through a construction site
Salary

Salary range: $42.30 - $53.84. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.

Affiliate Sponsor: CHA Consulting Inc — Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000.
