MasTec Utility Services is seeking an OHE Lineman A in Pensacola, FL to assist Journeyman Lineman and the Foreman while in training. You will perform diverse work on poles, power lines, and electrical equipment for distribution of electricity, upholding safety and quality standards.
Requirements include a high school diploma, 3 years of lineman experience, and a valid Class A CDL. OSHA 10 certification preferred; 5+ years experience preferred.

The OHE Lineman A assists Journeyman Lineman and the Foreman while in training. Responsible for performing diversified work related to the construction and maintenance of poles, power lines, auxiliary facilities, and equipment for the distribution of electricity. Sets a good example for newer apprentices by always following and teaching safe practices. This position supports the Line team and works with other personnel from the department.

This job operates in a field environment. The role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing, and twisting. Work may occur in inclement weather conditions (extreme heat/cold, rain, ice, snow, wind).
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships. Precise hand-eye coordination and color recognition may be required.
