Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a radiation oncology physician for a travel assignment in Ohio. The role involves 7:30 am–4 pm shifts Sunday to Thursday, treating 7–10 patients per day across brachytherapy and external beam modalities.

Required skills include IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, 3D CRT, and advanced treatment planning with PET CT or MRI fusion. Board certification is required and Weatherby provides paid malpractice, travel and housing support.

Responsibilities

• External beam therapy with linear accelerator including IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS and 3D CRT.
• Treatment planning with MLC beam shaping and PET CT or MRI image fusion.
• Provide brachytherapy: intracavitary (e.g. Mammosite).
• Assignment includes on-treatment visits 1 day per week and 7:30 am–4 pm shifts.

Job description

• Sunday - Thursday, 7:30 am - 4 pm -- 8-hour shifts, no call
• 7 - 10 patients per day depending on visit type
• 1 day per week reserved for on-treatment visits (OTV)
• Brachytherapy: intracavitary required (e.g. Mammosite)
• External beam therapy -- linear accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, electrons
• IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and 3D CRT techniques required
• Treatment planning -- MLC beam shaping, PET CT or MRI image fusion
• Board certification required
