Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Full-time Specialized Equipment Operator for our off-site distribution center in Plainfield, Indiana. The weekend/3rd shift runs Friday to Sunday, 6:30am–7:15pm, at an hourly rate of $20.25 plus $1.25 additional per hour.

This role supports unloading, loading, staging and warehousing operations to ensure efficient merchandise flow. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and are comfortable using WMS/WM and RF scanners, with an emphasis on

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Basic English reading comprehension and numerical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, stage, palletize and warehouse cartons in racking.
• Sort UPCs for backstock.
• Use scan-and-apply functions; perform spot checks for proper sorting.
• Work in other departments when workflow demands.
• Secure products to skids and shrink-wrap as needed.
• Report document errors to Supervisor and complete paperwork accurately.
• Verify purchase orders and location numbers before receiving, picking or loading.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
